The Little Mermaid is my most favourite Disney movie of all time. Unfortunately, Disney being Disney, they changed a LOT of the original story, so when I first read the Hans Christian Anderson story, it really shocked me.

The line from the story that most sticks in my head is the one above. I think it's sad but sweet that someone would endure so much pain for the person they love, even if that person doesn't love them back.
I attempted to do it in the Disney style for some deep meaning that I can't remember...
