I agree with previous speakers about colours. :)

Your work looks rather as if it was created with oil paints on canvas instead of pastels on standard paper.

This is the look I was trying to achieve.

The framing (wooden brown frame and painted linen mat) was created in Photoshop and adds the final touch.

Lovely blend of colors. I like how this has a 3D-esque look/mixed media appearance to it.
