Blanche of Castile (1188 – 1252) was the mother of Saint Louis (Louis IX), King of France.
She was the daughter of Alfonso VIII, king of Castile, and Eleanor of England.
She was queen of France as the wife of Louis VIII.

Yes, I know they were the ones who formed the united Spanish Kingdom, shortly after the recapture of Granada
