you know the anime Hellsing? The artist who drew the manga had a very unique drawing style, and that was because he had been drawing realistic at the same time. I think that if you master the realistic your manga drawings will automatically also look better. I think it's happening to you. =) It's so easy to see. And I'm so surprised to see how fast you have learned! This picture is gorgeous! How you manage to "switch off" the manga part of you dazzles me... Whenever i try to draw realistic the eyes ALWAYS gets too biiig! I think you picked a great picture for practice. It must have given you a challenge but I really think you pulled it off. Great job!!

I know exactly what  you mean , realistic improves manga so much , I become more focused on the anatomical details and shading
I was tired half way through but finished it anyway  , now I'm glad I did ^^
