Kira Yamato is acting as a lookout aboard a whaler. The minute he spots a pod of whales, he gives the alarm crying "Thar She Blows!" This will inform the rest of the crew to lower away their whaling boats and row off to the hunt. Such is the life of the old Yankee Whaler
