January 30th, 2009:</b> Artwork I started yesterday, while really, really tired yesterday morning... way past my bedtime, and I was irritated with how it was coming overall...
...then, earlier tonight; I continued it, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was - but I'm still not happy with it... except for the nice violet colours, and the lurvely butterfly, to reflect Raphael's supposed to be thinking of his beloved daughter, Amy. ^^
...umm... his outfit is, of course, not exactly right; but that was done on purpose - this outfit has hardly any reference images online, and it was hard to get Raphael to behave for me on the television... bad, BAD Raphael!!! :shakefist:
...which is why I gave him different gloves, and didn't even bother with his right shoulder... umm... and I slightly altered a few things, namely small touchups on his masquerade mask.
...I hate his shoulders... and the belts on his left arm... argh...
*sigh*</i> ...I'll try to draw Raphael, and Amy, with their weapons sometime... and them together again, too... plus other SC characters, when I get around to it... most likely Siegfried, I think...
My brothers like this artwork, and that's what makes me most happy about it. ^^
...oh, and the title is Raphael's nickname in SC... at least, the Japanese version, methinks... since he apparently doesn't have one in English.
