season 1

xD Season 1! Muscular and HAWT :DDD

i prefere season 1 cause he's more curvy and has more shape but in season 2 he's like all zig zaggy, i can't find a better way to put it.

He's "boxier" is the only way I can think of how to describe it.

But he's a lot thinner, so he can be more curvy than the first one can.

Um well he looks buff in season 1, and the colors are brighter but simpler
In Season 2 he's sort of skinny looking and the colors are darker and more washed out looking though the details are more prominent and it actually looks like jake.
So prolly season 2 wins XD

I like both of them, but season 2's made way more sense. He's a little 14 year old kid who is in the process of training, why would his body be so buff? Also his dragon side of his family is Chinese, so obviously the dragon form should be a little more like that - as well as actually look like him, Lol.

I like um both, they are good in their own ways, although I have a preferance for the 2nd season.

Season Two, but only because it shows that he's not super powerful, and he has growing to do. He is only 14, after all.
 
And either way, he just looks all around cooler in Season Two XD

Whanna know what I thought about them? I thought s2 was hideous! S1 is like, big tough dragon dude comin' at cha... S2 is like, oh look it's a dorky dragon with goat huvs. By the way, nice lighting, very good.

I personally don`t like most of the art changes in the 2nd season, but I do like Jake`s dragon form

com-on, he is of Chinese descendants, his grandfather is a Chinese dragon, so it is only logical that he turns into such

It's better now, actually. I hated it at first, but the story is better and the art is less... cartoony.

This is a really good pic!  nicely colored and shaded.  I personally like the season 1 dragon and just the regular Jake a lot better.  The new Jake looks like a loser (that was kinda mean, but I still like the show!) and the new dragon is less intimidating.  I prefer season one.  But actually, you make the season two dragon better than the artists for the show!  If you worked for them, I'd probably like it better!  Keep up the good work!

I'm not sure which I like the best. While V1.0 has the awsome dragon Buffness number 2 is sleek and stylish, like a sports car.
It's like, one's built for speed and the other's built for perfomance, if only we could murge the two in to one we could all ejoy the awsomeness of a SUPERDRAGON!

in the show the season 2 one looks really scrawny, but the way you've drawn him here, he looks ok. i actually agree that the 1st season one looks too bulked out, i just think that the season two one looks like as if his head is too big for his body.

I like the first one better, because he looks more powerful and strong. Great work anywany mate, IT IS AWESOME!!

I have to admit at first I thought season two's dragon was awful, but after watching the show for a while I'm starting to like him. In the fight scenes he fights more like i think a dragon would; flying through the air, using his tail and fire breath more. Plus, if he's descended from a chinese dragon (grandpa), it makes sense if he looks like one. Awesome pic, and props to the new American Dragon!

season ones the one. who ever decided to change season two art needs to be fired or at lest bet to a bloody pulp.

They changed his dragon form to a thinner dragon form because he's only thirteen years old and they thought his season one dragon form was much too buff for a young kid. XD

They had their reasons. Watching the second season, it's hard to picture the original Jake Long design.
