Shadow, as some of you know, is a Shadow Dragon/Weredragon cross.
So you can imagine her surprise when an Angelus Dragon*/Weredragon cross called Lazlo turns up and decides to tag along.
This is based after Shadow leaves the Shadow Stalkers. Her memory of the organisation has been replaced, so she's once again become a loner, travelling from job to job and planet to planet.
(Shadow and Lazlo can live to be 2,000 years old, due to their mixed heritage. o.O )
* The Angelus and Shadow Dragon tribes didn't exactly get along well. There are few survivors of the war between the two tribes, due to the Shadow Dragons being incredibly weak against anything Angelic. Fortunately for Shadow, Lazlo's touch isn't fatal, due to him being a crossbreed.
