Description
This is a still life my art teacher set up. the composition wasn't good when I sketched it cuz everything was at the bottom so I drew the light comeing in from the top left corner to somewhat balance it.

what'd you use to do it? i really like how you used almost the entire grayscale (from black to white) which gives it a nice amount of contrast. and idky but i really like the object that looks like an upside down flower pot under the sphere. it seems to be shaded very well. howerever the shading could be much smoother in some of the other areas. especiall they sphere. round objects typically have very gradual shading. like you already mentioned, its not balanced, but thats more your art teachers fault. ask him/her to hang something from the ceiling next time. i can also see the brushstrokes in many areas, but then again, that may just be your style. overall its a nice composition.
