Haha! Yeah, totally. He was actually REALLY good on Dream Theater's first CD. Before he started singing way high pitched. But... still. "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" is a complete masterpiece through and through. I can listen to that thing from track one on the first CD until the last song on the second CD. :)

You sing yourself, eh?! What style? Do you have any samples (maybe a myspace or something)? :)

Used to be one of my favorite singers. My only gripe with him these days is that he can either be a breathtaking singer, or he just annoys the crap out of you. Depends on the song and depends on your mood. :)

Ooooh, as much as I adore him, I'm going to have to painfully agree with you. ^^; I am absolutely in awe of the man's range and control, but in some songs he just gets so damn breathy!! big, big example of this would be some of his solo projects -- Mullmuzzler or even "Elements of Persuasion", as much as I love that album.

he's still one of my favorite singers, but I'm a vocalist myself, and sometimes it's hard to ignore other people's mistakes. XD
