I was rereading some of my old Robin comics from the Dixon/Johnson run and fell back in love with Stephanie. She's suffered a lot in recent times thanks to bad writing, but back in the early days she totally rocked as the Spoiler. <br />

I loved drawing this. Her "Why yes I'm the Cluemaster's daughter" hair was one of my favorite parts. And it was fun to draw her room and include a lot of canon details like the Superboy poster and the dormer window. It took *forever* to color, though. I could have put more shadows and highlights in, but at some point I had to make myself stop. Unfortunately this picture is more pixelated than I usually post, but I was forced to post this in JPEG form because the original PNG file was huge.

Its from Chuck Dixon's run on Robin from the 90s-early 2000s. No specific issue, but more heavily influenced by the 90s and Staz Johnson's pencils when it comes to the design of Steph and her bedroom.Nightbird on February 3, 2006, 6:50:48 AM
