Description
After a long,LONG,LOOOOONG time away from finishing or really starting any new pictures, I at last finished this picture, in such a state as I can call this the first real interpretation of the original idea. However, it'll hardly be the last one. I love the idea presented too much to settle on this particular one.<br />

This picture depicts a male figure being tormented and held back by demons , even as he reaches out for something better (the heavenly angel , who happens to be a woman) with a sort of dramatic desperation. it's yet another pretty clear metaphor,t his one about longing and lonliness and the potential for true happiness in finding your "soul mate". GRanted, being alone has it's perks and of course beign with someone is by no means a gaurentee of hapiness...but, i've been feeling the need to connect while lacking the idea on how to, for a bit. And the picture came to me in that time.<br />
