Another one of these Scanned-In-Pencil-Sketch-Digital-Colour pieces. I start to really like doing these.

The lines are not clean on them but I like that especially, the drawing keeps it's hand-made soul with these strokes but get's brilliant digital colouring as a contrast.


This is Ulysses the Mountain Emperor, he plays a big role in my story about this wing-less dragon species he belongs to (Crowncollar Dragons).

luckylace222That is awesome! Love the candlelight! I almost thought that the spikes on the bottom were his teeth! NO-JAW DRAGON could look really creepy too!

Did you sketch in the stone texturing, or do you have some kind of a texture brush for it?
I like the drippy candles--and that's a nice dramatic spike on the dragon's lower jaw, although I do wonder if it's hard to eat without stabbing his food on it.
