I finally had some time to paint and draw again.
I followed a course at CG Society some time ago about environment design at the firm where I work at and I think I really learned a lot there.
This piece is completely done in PS CS 6 with my new Wacom Cintiq 22HD and was a good new training again. I mostly used different brushes for the leaves, structures and textures mixed together. Most parts are just painted with the normal brush tool.
I just had to put my character Drakalette in there.
And yes there exists a song from Dan Gibson with the same title. Very nice music for drawing.

this is so pretty, and well done. what a wonderful place, and the image really gives the feel of it.
