Father Loves Me, Surely

Dr. Jizabel Disraeli, the character I simply adoooore more, from the Earl Cain Saga.

Originally this was suppose to be a birthday present for Suni...then a Christmas present...I just now finished it.

I always liiiked Jizabel ok, but it was while drawing this and talking with Suni that I fell absolutely head over heals in LOVE with this character.

His hair was, as is always the case, my favorite part of the picture. I LOVE drawing hair, and I enjoyed etching the blond streaks in there.

The origin for the title will be obvious to any fan of Count Cain/Godchild; in other words, Jizabel's obsessive, delusional love for his father, the man who beats him, whips him, killed his family, made him eat his pet, belittles him and all around tortures his soul. Yet Jizabel's denial is epic
