Shmup fanart: GleyLancer

Well I was on a bit on hiatus for my shmup fanart but I'm back with one every month. This time around I did GleyLancer by NSC for the SegaMegadrive. A japan only release but it was recently translated into english. The game takes place in the distant future 2025. The Earth Federation are fighting aliens in a space. Ken Cabrock, a lieutenant, is tending to the matter when the aliens transported him via a strange warp. The federation breaks the news to his 16 daughter, Lucia, that he's missing and they don't know if he is still alive. Saddened, Lucia waits in her room for any news but is convinced by her friend to search for him using the new CSH-01-XA Advance Buster Hawk Gleylancer. She does so and begins her journey to search for her father through enemy territory.
