Description
About a year ago I promised one of my pen friends from deviantART to draw a Christmas postcard and have it uploaded in my gallery. Having lost my account there due to corrupted administration, I have found much better place to share works.
The design of this postcard is based on one of those available in our post offices, including:
- Mary the Mother of Lord;
- The Holy Infant Jesus Christ;
- Saint Joseph the husband of Mary http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Joseph
- the sheep in bottom left part of the postcard has to represent the Lamb of God http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamb_of_God
I would like to thank my pen friend fmr0 for his ground and grass textures, which helped me in completing this postcard.

Very lovely Christmas card, with soft and subtle colours.Beautiful sky; nice use of the gradients and patterns. :-)

There's only one part I'm unsure about - if the stable, where Our Lord was born, had walls made of sandstone crowned with arches like I depicted.Same to you in advance. ;)

The arch is great for the composition and design.Christmas cards offer a message of hope and joy.
(and you did this very well) :D
For the rest, let's call it artistic license ;-)
Reality is not always very cheerful, they were fugitives....
