This digital painting was drawn for my pen friend from Florida, who has his birthday today:

American paratrooper from 101st Airborne Division fighting with Nazi ogre near Bastogne in 1944. The latter is supposed to be wearing ugly-looking uniform, since he bought low-quality replica of SS officer uniform instead of original or even good quality replica.

Ogres have never been wise creatures.

SaltwaterAlso, nice weapon in his left hand.
By chance, is he a friend of the dumb duck?  ;-)

TeeJay87Someone closer than friend - we could call the dumb duck and ogre OberStinkFuehrer "spiritual brothers". xD

SaltwaterThe Ogre's uniform is shapeless.
It looks like a sort of old grandfathers' pajamas!  lol

TeeJay87He bought the cheapest available "replica" in the black market. xD

SaltwaterMaybe.
Also, perhaps he has bought some lousy items in the dirty paki part of the Brick Road flea market in East End, London.  :D
This is where they usually find all their lousy bric-a-brac.   ;-)

TeeJay87We used to have similar flea market in Warsaw, named "Stadion Dziesięciolecia" ( "The Tenth Anniversary Stadium" )  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10th-Anniversary_Stadium - it worked in the same way like the Brick Road market is working, just most of the local merchants were Russians, who sold pirated CDs and video tapes.

I'm glad that this den of rogues was replaced with object we, Poles, can be proud of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Stadium,_Warsaw , since we'll be hosting 2014-15 UEFA Europe League finals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014%E2%80%9315_UEFA_Europa_League instead of illegal traders. ;)

SaltwaterYes, you are right.
These flea markets are crowded of lousy items and lousy people.
Dens of rogues, indeed.
the items are  all of "unknown origin" , most are in very poor condition, some are pirated, others are stolen...
They call it "fallen from the truck"   LOL
Since these places are crowded, It is also the paradise of pick-pockets...

TeeJay87That Nazi ogre is nuts, since he considers giant plunger as better weapon than rifle. ;)
