Kitty Meeting

Quite a surprise to see you draw them this way compared to the usual anthropomorphic style. I think they look great together!

If Warner Bros and PAWS Inc. ever decided to combine Garfield and Friends with Krypto the Superdog, such merger would look convincing.

Both kitties are supposed to be the same size, though I'm still unsure if Delilah looks bigger than Penny.

You cannot really compare them, because the pose is very different.
Also, the shape and proportion of the body, the proportion of the head and other elements,
everything is very different. 
However you manage to create a very good integration of your two kitties in this scene.  :D 

Apart from poses, both kitties represent different styles of American animation:


- like most of feline characters designed by Jim Davis and PAWS Inc., Penny has roundly-shaped body, which is visible in her belly and limbs. In some scenes, those shapes look a bit exaggerated, for example here http://garfield.wikia.com/wiki/File:Vlcsnap-2014-11-05-13h48m46s48.png - it looks as if Penny was pregnant or Garfield shared his daily lasagna amount with her;


- Delilah was created in 2005 - almost two decades after Penny (1989) by artists from Warner Bros. studios, thus she's got different body shapes.




The issue with misfit sizes is much easier to overcome with anthropomorphic characters - when they get humanoid bodies, adjusting them is just a matter of proportions and head sizes. Examples are below:

Great crossover of theirs :)
It is rare to see Delilah with her real cat body when you draw her, so it's surprising with no doubt :) 

She has such body in all the 4 episodes of Krypto the Superdog she appears in http://krypto.wikia.com/wiki/Delilah ; thought it'd make a variety to depict her as she looks in the show. :)
