Despite not being fan of anime or manga, I find games from "Metal Slug" series quite enjoyable in playing. In high school (quite a long time ago), classmates showed me those games available for WinKawaks ROM emulator and have to admit, MS1 and 2 were quite enjoyable to give a try.

Some time ago I checked gameplays on YT, how do others beat levels in those game. Having been reminded of the MS2 level with Arabian terrorists, I've decided to draw one of those fans of Jihad, modeled after http://metalslug.wikia.com/wiki/Arabian_Infantry and http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/metalslug/images/0/0d/Arabian.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20160718... .

This forbidden fruit fan from my sketch is Kebab Effendi, who appeared in my story from October 2015 http://www.fanart-central.net/pictures/user/TeeJay87/846629/Birdbrain-in-Beirut; showing off typical stance towards Quranic commandments. About time those "peaceful and tolerant Moslems" finally realized their beloved prophet has been cheating them since 622 AD.

TeeJay87Manifesting wealth is apparently part of their nature. Especially those from Arab Peninsula have pleasure in showing off their fashion - certain sheiks even order Western fashion companies sewing robes and headgear, because "turbans sewn by Gucci look better than those made by their local manufacturers".

SaltwaterGucci is the perfect example of Bling-Bling.
Expensive items but very poor taste.
Their flimsy and mediocre fashion accessories are well suited to parvenus who want to show off.

TeeJay87Arab noblemen (sheiks, dukes and local monarchs) are notorious for their show-offs, especially those from United Arab Emirates like to drive expensive cars (Ferraris are most praised in their society) through the desert, not caring much about safety nor maintenance costs.
We have a joke about such crony consumerism form the Persian Gulf:

In 1980, there was Arab sheik, who wanted to impress his fellows by having a car nobody had before him - not a Ferrari, not a Bentley, not a Cadillac; it must had been something REALLY unique. Our sheik found telephone to Trabant company in DDR https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trabant and phoned them:
- How long do you have to wait for a car ordered in your company ?
- Five years.
The sheik thought "If it takes Trabant building one car so long, it must be something really exclusive. Something for me at last !", so he ordered a car at Trabant giving all the shipment details. Of course such order caused mess inside DDR "working class" - they can't let such rich sheik waiting for a car, thus they immediately found one new-built Trabbie 601 and shipped to the orderer.
A month later, our Arab sheik is showing off his colleagues from the desert:
- Those German communists are great people in'shallah ! I have to wait 5 years for a car in their factory, but look - they sent me fully-functional 1:1 toy model !

TeeJay87He's supposed to have such outfit - Arabs tend to dress themselves in clothes not necessarily matching in colors.
