After nearly a year of collecting models for Flames of War, I have managed to build US Army tank company for the late war period (1944-45), having enough for basic 3-platoon unit:
- HQ composed of 2 x M4A3/76 Sherman tanks
- 1st platoon with 5 M26 Pershings
- 2nd platoon with 5 M4A3E2/76 Shermans
- 3rd platoon with 5 M4A3/76 Shermans.

Following the common practice of giving the tanks names after cartoon characters, half of the company tanks have been named after PAWS Inc. characters:
- "Garfield" - an M4A3E2 Jumbo Sherman with a 76mm gun (the one with two crew members in the turret - company HQ vehicle).
- "Arlene" - an M4A3E8, or an "Easy Eight" Sherman (2iC vehicle).
- "Penelope" - a M26 Pershing (platoon command vehicle).
- "Mona" - a M26 Pershing.
- "Kitty" - a M26 Pershing.
- "Lola" - an up-armored M4A3/76 Sherman (platoon command vehicle).
- "Gwen" - an up-armored M4A3/76 Sherman.

The most challenging process was to cut out singular letters from paper sheets, before trying to align them properly. The process went smoothly on the Shermans, but naming the Pershings was indeed an exercise in frustration, due to their small side plates. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the outcome.

The remaining 2 Pershings and 7 Shermans await being named - those will appear in the second part of the picture.

TeeJay87And I have used them in a game already - they won a match againt Germans.

Especially the M26s ("Penelope", "Mona" and "Kitty") performed outstanding. :)
