alitta2Awesome! The whole gang's here to celebrate Christmas :)

Just today I got to know from an article I read that Christmas was banned in the US during the 17th century because the Pilgrim Fathers denied everything that is related to the Anglican church, and also they stated that "it sould not be celebrated, as there's no reference for the celebration of Christ's birth in the Holy Bible".

Quite weird to think about it today, isn't it? :D

TeeJay87Only the kittens, Foo Foo, Toodles, Tom, Butch, and Dollface are missing, but indeed, most of the gang is present. ;)

There are indeed some Protestant Churches in the United States, which don't celebrate Christmas due to the reason you mentioned, though they're a minority nowadays. The Pilgrim Fathers were members of those churches, fleeing from the prosecutions led by the Anglican Church in the 17th Century.
