Brand New Margie

So some of you (hahahahaha!) may remember my horrible picture <a href="http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-229596.html">My Favourite Simpson</a>. Ugh, it pretty much sucks.

I decided to try again because the movie was due in theatres in a few months (yeah, I started this a while ago) and wanted to celebrate. I fully intended to have it inked, include Homer, and be ready for posting over a week ago. ...I inked it (TERRIBLY!) three days ago. And there's no Homer. Sad.

Fun facts: I researched about ten photos of beehives to give Marge the most realistic hairdo possible. She is bending her torso forward ever-so-slightly. When I was going to put Homer in, I wanted both of them to be wearing their wedding rings. Obviously, he didn't make it, but Margie still has hers. I remembered to draw her ears! I think a lot of the anatomy is wrong, but upon first glance, she looks good, so I won't dwell on it.

Once I finish the one trade I have, I hope to get back to a Homer and Marge picture. Don't count on it this year or any time soon for the next, though.
