A sketchy of the main character of a story I'm scratching around with in a notebook... If I ever get enough free time, I might type it up and upload it, but I've got tons to work on...

Anyways, this is Azrael. I spent forever on the lineart [seriously, a good coupla hours] and I rather like the way he came out. I'm gonna color this, hopefully, but I want to experiment some more before I do.
Also, I know that his wings are only in pencil, that's because I don't really know if I should have them in there or not... Technically Az is an angel, but I'm not sure I should have them in this pic...

...I'm terrified by how much he looks like Layla, from Avenger. I swear I didn't mean for it to!
btw, the things he's holding are blades. Crappy design, I lack originality. x.X

Originality? Trinity, you realize that everything's been done before. It's all in putting familiar concepts in unfamiliar settings.

Anyway, I think you did well here. I would agree with Defy_Death on the wing thing (LOL rhyme XD ): it makes him look more angelic. Plus, his outfit is actually stylish in a Goth way. It looks like a cross between Layla Ashley's outfit (heh, I don know about Avenger) and Zelos Wilder's. (I think it's the vest.) Overall, you did a good job. You ought to give yourself a pat on the back for that. *favs*

Wow, very nice :) ... I really love your style, it's very, erm... 'pointy' i think, which i really love cos whenever i design a building [i'm an architecture student], it always ends up being pointy, lol
