Seriously, with the time I took detailing Zelos' cruxis crystal... I know sympathise with Jhonenfreak. o_o;
Anyway, pixel art and bezier tool, which is my new best friend~ <3
And, Zelos!
If only I could figure out a decent way to highlight hair, now... >>;
Um, a quick note. Not sure exactly how the fancy struck, or if this will really make sense, but... I felt like making Zelos really plain and drab. Hence the simple hair shading, the brown background... (which still seems a little ugly, to be honest 9_9;)
I really think that, underneath all of the smiles and jokes... Zelos is really someone different. And I luv that part of him~ <3

whoa!!that is so very awesome!!! i think the highlights on the hair look fine!!and the hair coloring looks really good to!!!!and nice job on the skin tone it looks even and well polished!!!that harder to do than most people think!!awesome-ness!!!

Oekaki = evil little contraptions that attempt to kill me everytime I get near them. D: You're pretty awesome at them, though. <3 His collarbone makes me quite happy. =3The only thing that drives me insane about this is the skin color in his hair on the left side. But other than that I really do like the "plain and drab" feeling you've got going around in this a LOT. I know nothing at all of Zelos, but I know a lot of characters who are like that and this seems to suit them quite well, so very nice job. =D
And for what it's worth, I think the cruxis crystal looks pretty dang awesome.

Oh, well, I thought the hair looked too fat there, so it's actually supposed to be skin in there. Then again, it doesn't quite match up with the neck and face, so... >>;I let it be. I know not how to work myself out of these things. XD;
