Description

Finally done. My tribute to Brian Jacques, author of the Redwall series, who passed away after a heart attack on February 5th this year. Martin raises his sword in a warrior's salute to the sky.

This is my second attempt because my first tribute drawing wasn't really all that great. This popped into my mind after listening to Randy Edelman's To the Stars soundtrack for Dragonheart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTKSUlMbp9A It just seemed appropriate.

*favs* That is a BEAUTIFUL starry night. OAo !!!

Even the simple base colors and pose seems to add to the picture! The starry night is the "star" in this picture! I like it a fantastically large deal!

Thanks much :) As I've said before, I had to create my own brush to draw all the stars. Doing them all individually would have taking quite a long time!
