Another art commission!
That's.. what..? two in six months. I'm on a roll!

Anywho, my aunt was nice enough to pay me for my talents. She gave me the task of painting her cat. When that utterly failed, she, amazing as she is, let me get away with this drawing in its place.

TwilightDragonthank you for your comment.
As for water color pencils.. I never did get the hang of them. Something about incorporating the water and pencil elements just didn't flow for me.
Plus I couldn't resist the opportunity to use Prisma Colors ;).

TwilightDragonDo you use a paintbrush when you go over your watercolor pencil markings? Do you have to use a special paper which doesn't buckle when it gets wet?

..If I knew a little about the pencils, I'd probably be more adventuresome.
As for Prisma Colors, they are like normal colored pencils but oil based, giving them a richer, more bendable color.

TwilightDragonVery much, many thanks.
I believe I have a set of Derwent water color pencils myself. I always used them like ordinary colored pencils. I'll have to try them via the your method.
Derwent makes good quality pencils, I swear by their graphic brand.
Speaking of paper, do you happen to know of any companies which make low texture paper for pencils? A good quality white sulfite would be nice.
