His body shook with the tears that he was struggling to hold back, and he buried his face in his arms, trying to seek refuge from the accusing glare of society. In his hand he clutched the necklace - her necklace.
He gulped helplessly and let the tears run freely now.
I promised her that I wouldn't ever fail her.
At the top of the precariously tall building, the wind whistled hauntingly, peircing him and blowing the necklace slightly, still clutched in his hand.
I promised that I wouldn't let her down, no matter what. But, now...
Finally, something with him snapped. He abrubtly stood up, his vision clouded with bitter tears and sceamed to the heavens.
"I'M SORRY KAT!!!! I'm sorry I forgot to buy the earrings to go with this necklace..."
