Adorable Arty (and squishy)

I like to call this one "Adorable over 9000".  A scene towards the end of the first story arc of the space campaign of the DnD group Somebody Dice.  Early in the campaign Arty befriended a space Jellyfish, which sacrificed itself to save Arty the very next session, and Arty waited out the entirety of the first arc for his little Jellyfish buddy to recover from stasis.  Needless to say when he was finally back Arty was very glad to have his little buddy back.
