Description

The theme is to combine the Japanese kimono with the traditional gothic lolita style. So I came up with a hybrid design :D ( I think that both Geishas and *gothic* lolitas have the "distant" attractiveness! ) Somehow, the "knowing" attitude of the "kimono type" girl, perhaps that of a geisha, outweighs the naive image of a gothic lolita. Still, the "untouchable" soul beneath a fragile, surrendering body shows its face. More nature art in the background, reminds me of some traditional Japanese art!<br />

You did a really great job on the coloring! And that background is really neat. All in all, it's a really great picture.

But, no. . . this doesn't look at all like gothic lolita. Gothic, maybe. Lolita, no. One of the key aspects of the lolita style is modesty. *pokes at panty shot and hooker boots* And geishas don't exactly dress like that either, so I don't really understand the title.

Regardless. Nice pic. ;D

Kyot222 It's not really supposed to look like a kimono all the way but just sort of! There is actually a style like that called Wal-loli. ^O^ You did a great job *adds to favs.*

LOVE the colouring and I bet you get this a lot...or maybe I'm just plain dumb, but what is aquarell? LOL There's something decidedly Japanese and all oriental about the way you splashed the background on and used the coloured pencils...{sigh} ARRGH! ^,-,^ Eh...well, great job, there.
