A few weeks ago I decided to sit down and color my inked Toulouse picture that I had lying around.  I began to experiment with skin-tones, as the actor in the 2003 movie has an interesting skin color, and I am now VERY happy with how this turned out.  I think this is my first real step towards getting better at drawing slightly realistic humans. :)
 
This is a portrayal of the character Toulouse-Lautrec from Moulin Rouge!.  I fell in love with the way the actor created his character, and so I had to show some appreciation. ;) As for the actual Toulouse-Lautrec...my favorite painting of his is definitely 'Rosa La Rouge'.  His artwork is very interesting.
