Yep yep, my latest pic is complete!

I don't know what it is. But the design was inspired when I saw an artist's drawing of a Basilisk while looking at a "How to Draw Fantasy Creatures" book. And I wanted to draw some non-fanart for a change, so here's some. (I think I'll come back to doing fanart soon!)

This took nearly foreverto do. x_x I wanted a nice background for this, so I just copied the big rock the lizard is crawling on off of a painting in a book of a puma. XD I feel like I did a rushed job on the shading for the BG, but I like the look of it with all the textures. (ESPECIALLY the water!)

Verry interesting design. I can tell you took your time on this one, even the ripples in the water look good. Don't really like the cave back there though, that little doorway. It seems a little tacked on. Oh well, it wasn't the focus anyway. Neat, neat beans.
The back leg looks a bit wrong, like its connected in a wrong way...

cool good job, the shading is simple, but that is the way that it needs to be ,unless you are doing a very detailed picture.
