Zaron and Veena - Destiny of the Dragoon

The main protagonists of my upcoming novel.

Sharing an unbreakable bond, the two young Dragoons are faced with numerous trials that will test their skills and teamwork as they venture to claim the legendary Dragon's Eye.

{Artist's Comments}

A follow-up to my "Champion's Wrath" artwork and a slight update to the character designs of my two main characters: Zaron Nitro and Veena Alko.

I had wanted to do a new pairing artwork for the two young Dragoons for a long while, especially after transitioning to digital. In fact, I had used this piece to initially test my skills on my drawing tablet back when I first bought it, and then overtime I wanted to refine the piece so it looked great as a concept art.

If you were to compare this to their previous appearances, you may notice tribal-like emblems on their shirts. These are their official family logo. Zaron's is hidden by his weapon holster unfortunately, however Veena's is completely on show.
I also wanted to tweak Veena's bangs/fringe slightly so that her eyes were on show more, which helped make it easier for me to draw them during the development process.

Ultimately, I'm glad it turned out so well!
