Your Happiness

Looks like desperation. I see a girl who is blinded by her own sadness (her eyes) that she is willing to go anywhere to get a feeling equivalent to companionship (shadow of lover), and it seems as if she's so lost that she doesn't even know what to feel anymore, whether it be any emotion (blank expression).

Never studied psychology once in my life; I taught myself how to read expressions, emotions, and behavioral patterns. Unfortunately, where I live, at least, everyone seems to have completely different expressions representing different emotions (I would not be surprised at the least if this meant that nobody understands their own emotions around here, but idk).

Also, and I know this question is a personal one, and you have every right to slap me for asking, but usually, when an artist doesn't understand their own work, it's a sort-of distress signal coming from the subconscious. With both this picture and "Dying Clockwork" as my basis for reasoning, is everything ok?
