He's Stronger Than You Think

For Anyone who's keeping up with Alstr and Kai, this is Alstr when he was little. The woman is Hemlock. She's a healer, but not a very good one. In this world, a healer can heal fresh wounds and is considered a holy person. She took him in and in a round about way, saved his life. Yes, he had the scars (as seen in his adult pics) when he was a kid too ;) He's hanging on to Hemlock because he's blind and trying to navigate very new surroundings. She's just happy to see him walking considering how sick he is.... (if you're wondering, yes... it was the feaver from being sick that caused his blindness) When Kai meets him shortly after this, his comment is that Alstr must be the strongest person he's ever seen to have survived everything he's been through and still be fighting a deadly disease.
