It's a Lada Niva on the endless Mongolian steppes.
About the car: It was the first non-FIAT based car of the AvtoVAZ factory. They started the production in 1977 and it's still in made. It was one of the predecessors to the current crossover-SUV cars. The car (which was often referred as the 'Russian Range Rover') was popular not only in the socialist countries, but from the U.S. to Australia too.
