Description
It's the well known Trabant 601, produced in Zwickau in the former German Democratic Republic between 1963 and 1989.
This two stroke engined car got to be one of the most common vehicles in the former socialist countries, even a station wagon version existed. It was also popular in culture, because many jokes, songs and even a movie (Go Trabi Go) based on it.
In a proper sense this car was "the VW Bug of the eastern bloc" .
