Mary should have picked the revolver her kidnapper was wielding, since the area isn't looking that safe.

I guess both Ruger and Taurus in the comics are fed from the same .45 round, aren't they ?

Indeed, that's why I chose them, and because of the fact that another gun using the same round will appear in hands of someone among the girls :)

Which one? Monique and Isabella took those that may be useful later.
Mary's makeshift one cannot be used without a shell, and it's hard to find another one, so that's why she rather threw it.
