Maybe this pic is coming a bit late, as it's already 2017 in all parts of the world, but still, Happy New Year for all of you! :)

This time I have broken up with my tradition to submit a pic on the very first hours of the new year (according to my local time-zone GMT +1:00), as I had no time for making the pic in time for that because of a house party that I have been invited to.

I like the idea of depicting 2016 as dried out landscape and 2017 as fresh one. :)

It is not accidental: I wanted to symbolize the old year as hopeless as it was because of the many bad events, and the new one with plenty of hope.
I admit that it could be done at the same time of any year, as we always think that the new year will be better than the old one, but it simply just came to my mind this time :D
