Mary's logic didn't work this time - we have a saying in my homeland "Those, who straighten routes, barely sleep at their homes."

In cases like the environment the girls found themselves around, it's wiser to follow the more reliable ways, even if those require longer distances to pass. ;)

Yeah, it's easy to think that posteriorly, but here can be seen that even the smartest ones are neither perfect, they can think mistakenly sometimes :D
