species: the draconian kriarn (kree-arn)
also refered to as the draconian terror bird
the kriarn is a bird of prey native to the planet of draconia it's name means lyre bird refering to the harp shaped mark on it's chest it is about as big as a bald eagle and is an extremly fast flyer like the falcon it has two sets of eyes which can face different directions simultaniously giving it the ability to scan the ground for prey with it's larger keener eyes while simultaniously watching where it is flying and watching out for aerial predators with it's smaller less keen eyes. it is not known why the kriarn has two tongues. every kriarn has a crest of feathers on it's head however the crest is less pronounced in females also females dont have the bright red feathers that the males have, instead they have either burgendy or black feathers kriarn are often tamed by the draconians to aid in hunting and to fend off the swarmes of furnok being as the furnok is one of the kriarns favored prey. the kriarn has a distinctive call that sounds like a mix of an eagles screech and a dragons roar or whatever you imagine a velociraptor to sound like
