cavern yakota (cave yakota)

a new yakota subspecies i came u with recently im still trying to figure out what the actual subspecies name should be it will either be the cave yakota or the cavern yakota...

well anyway


the cave yakota is a species that has only recently been discovered by draconian scientists and not much is known about it yet soo far they have been able to figure out that this creature is completly nocturnal and is covered in rows of long flexible and VERY sensitive spines that act as wiskers to help it feel around in the dark. also this yakota is the only species aside from the volcanic yakota that glows although the process by which this creature glows couldnt be more different to the way that the volcanic yakota does. the volcanic yakota glows because of the immense heat the radiates from its body and it's habitat, wheras the cave yakota glows because its skin is luminescent however because the majority of the creature is covered in black scales the luminescent skin is only visible through its markings,mouth,eyes,ears, and paw pads. no one has figured out what exactly the cave yakota eats and whether or not they live in packs and they have yet to find out what the cave yakotas venom does either. they have figured out that this creature stands at about 2 feet tall and 8 feet long making it the smallest species of yakota in existence
