bane of existence profile, blaze

the first of my concept drawings for the bane of existence web series that me and and my brother hope to make sometime in the future. mainly this drawing is a profile of lady kyara's (me)dragon blaze. i drew kyara and saraia as well so you can get an idea of how big blaze is and how small saraia is.

description: blaze is a fire dragon and main representative of the dragon race. even though the dragons often are used as transport or beasts of burden, one must always remember that these creatures are far more intelligent than any normal creature. blaze is the guardian dragon of lady kyara tiranor and takes great efforts to ensure that she is protected. being as he and kyara are dragon and rider they are very closely bonded and often prefer to spend their free time in each others company in fact, kyara can often be found sitting in between blazes fore-paws reading while he rests. blaze stands around 13 to 15 feet tall by estimation and is over 20 feet long from tip of snout to tip of tail. being a fire dragon his fire breath is far hotter than any other dragons and can sometimes take on a blue or white color entirely. blazes personality is most often kind and caring, he often acts like a big brother to saraia despite the fact that she is a completely different dragon species. on the other hand when on the battle field blaze immediately shows his true ferocity that is known from dragons. he is a fearsome fighter and combined with kyara's speed and grace they make a powerful team. all in all blaze can be described as a big scaly dog loving and compassionate but fiercely protective of those he cares about.
