Because frankly, this couple needs more love than it gets. Much more. I mean sure, Guan's got a hideous chin, but is that an excuse for most of the fandom to either dislike him or act like he doesn't exist?
As for the picture itself, this was (obviously) inspired by watching Time After Time part 2 (again). I liked evil!Guan, for some reason. I think he's cooler when he's minus his goody-twoshoes attitude. But anyways, this was based on the possibility of him actually joining the Heylin side. I think that Chase would be very happy to have his friend back. This picture can be taken as slash or friendship, though- take your pick.
Done in Prismacolor pencils (and no joke-the stars were done in Wite-out), and took absolutely forever. But honestly, it was worth it, because I think this is the best thing I've drawn in a very long time (possibly since "Love After Death" or "Under his Wing"). Point being...I'm incredibly proud of this.

Oh yeah, Guan does have an ugly chin in the show.
