Okay, so the adult is Jason (who can turn invisible) and the baby is his son Tyler. This picture was inspire by an rp I’m in, where Jason’s wife, Gabby, is “kidnapped” and he’s left with his newborn son. It would take way too long to explain the whole thing, but all you really need to know is that he’s sad Gabby’s gone ^^
Oh, and sorry it’s so light…I kinda’ drew this on a whim, but liked the way it turned out so I thought I’d post it. *shrugs*
Here's a brief summary for Jason when he first joins the X-Men.
● Name: Jason Ford
Code Name: Vanish
Age: 17
Affiliations: X-Men
Powers: Jason has the ability to turn invisible by teleporting his body (and other objects he has contact with) into another realm. This other realm acts as a window to our world; meaning you can see everything in our world, but you’re not really there. Actually, nothing exists in this other realm except the ground, so Jason can go through normally solid objects (like a wall or a sofa) because they really aren’t there. However, he can alter the amount of his body that enters and exits this other realm, which allows him to pick up and touch normally non existent objects while still remaining mostly invisible. A ghost-like outline of him becomes visible at this point, so to avoid being seen when handling objects in our world, Jason would only send a hand or a foot back (a transparent hand would be less noticeable than his whole body). In turn, he can send parts of his body to the other realm while remaining mostly visible; such as an arm or a leg suddenly disappearing. He can also send his voice back to our world while remaining invisible. If he were not to do this, no one would be able to hear him speak.
Appearance: Jason is very tall, broad and muscular for a teenager. He stands at 6’ 4” and likes to work out at the gym…a lot. He has forest green eyes and short dark-brown hair. He also has a hansom face, a kind smile and usually wears t-shirts and blue jeans.
History: Jason grew up in a normal Christian household in Illinois. He lived there for most of his life, but moved to Bayville when he was sixteen and starting his sophomore year of high school. He was always good at sports, but because he hated competition, never joined any teams. This made people skeptical and he didn’t have many friends; even though the girls usually flocked to him. When he first began to develop his powers Jason couldn’t control them, and couldn’t communicate with people while he was invisible. As a result he began missing school. After a while his concerned parents confronted him with his “skipping problem” and he was forced to tell them the truth about his powers. At first that didn’t believe him, but after he disappeared right before their eyes they quickly changed their tune. Afraid that people would shun their mutant son, the Fords tried to keep Jason out of school, but this only made him more depressed. However, a surprise visit from Professor X solved that problem, and after giving it a week of consideration, Jason’s parents allowed him to join the x-men.
