i desided i wanted to try a different style of GCing, anyways can anyone give me tips in doing water ^_^''' i have trouble with it

The lighting in this is neat - you chose just the right colors. The highlighting on the angel's cheek is a bit odd - it looks too square, I think. I've never tried to CG water, but I think you did a good job here. You might make the ripples that are far away from the viewer a bit skinnier, and the ones close to the viewer a bit fatter - perspective makes everything look more realistic and believeable. ^_^ The smudge tool can also be used to blend lines together.

The fireflies are a bit weird because they look... square? *rubs eyes* But they are glowy and that is cool! Heh, I've been wanting to do a CG of a character in a blacklit setting for the longest time, but I've been too intimidated by the prospect of working with purple lighting. This picture has inspired me, or at least it's made me start considering the prospect again.
