Ginger Unicorn

I was really in the mood to draw a unicorn (my favorite mythological creature). In the past, when I did color my unicorns (not very often, probably every 1 out of 10 unicorn and/or Pegasus pictures were colored) they were Arabian colors and looked more equine. This time, I decided to do something a little different by coloring the creature with “ginger” skin pigment (pale, red/brown fur &/or hair and the ever-popular, TA-DAH! freckles), creating a mixture of equine and traditional unicorn characteristics, and adding a border. Personally, I believe this makes a wonderful (greeting) card, so I think I’ll make several cards with this image….and alter my signature since I scanned the image as a reflection rather than a translation of itself. O_O
