They turned out awesome, especially Bandit!
I remember the classic series as well, but somehow I liked better the redesigned version from the mid '90s, that had the CGI-animated parts in the episodes (I think that looked goofy and unnecessary, but the 2D animation still rocked that time).

Have to admit, this intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDSa0gR5u9E from 1970s looks quite unbalanced, like mix of 1940 superhero cartoons with 1970 Hanna Barbera: notice soldiers with machinegun on 0:20 (Apparently Americans from 1942-58 period), M41 tank on 0:22 and the way jet in 1:02 are animated.

Not that I'd have anything against merger of animation styles in cartoons, but the one I mentioned above looks a bit cliched in my opinion.

I can remember only the classical series, did not get to watch the new version, the details are different between the two series, I believe due to releases at different times.
