Cool! I have neither heard of Herculoids before, but it reminds me Mightor in some aspects, except they fight against robots instead of orcs and other monsters.

The two cartoons were very similar. Portray ancient times. The Herculoids was a family that fought using slingshots and had as pets mythical creatures, who also had their special powers!

It was a fun cartoon! One of the most liked within the universe Hanna Barbera!

That's how a mighty warrior is expected to look like. ;)

Have to admit, I've never seen The Herculoids being shown here - the entire idea of conflict between sci-fi robots with energy weapons and Conan/Thongor-like primitive tribes has its charm.

Good compared to Conan / Thongor, the cartoon has the same style, mythical creatures, primitive tribes struggles with some technology, just changing the use of swords by slings!

No wonder why - approaching such robot with sword or bludgeon would be risky. Sling allows dealing with them from relative safe distance.
