Samurai Jack is a North American cartoon series that was created by Genndy Tartakovsky (creator of Dexter's Laboratory) and screened by Cartoon Network.
Jack gets a magic sword from his father and is sent to different locations around the world to learn from the great masters and thus manage to defeat Aku, a villain who rules his homeland!

Awesome, thank you so much for the gift!
I really liked Samurai Jack by uncle Genndy, it had agreat atmosphere and sometimes even eastern philosophical messages could be discovered, not talking about Bushido, that he also refered to in some episodes.
I would be curious of the new eps, but unfortunately it'll be on Adult Swim instead of CN, which is not available in my country :(

I read in your profile that Samurai Jack was one of his favorite series, so I decided to do this illustration!
I'm meeting some Samurai Jack for his words, but I've never watched the cartoon.
A little of the stimulus or inspiration I had to draw the character is due to my passion for oriental culture, especially for the samurai era!

Hmmm, I do not know, I remember reading news that the fifth season of Samurai Jack would air in 2016 or early 2017 but did not have a specific date.

Not a fan of cartoons made by Genndy Tartakovsky, though Samurai Jack has its own charm. At least the show teaches, that people shouldn't be given trust that easily.

I actually never watched the Samurai Jack show, but I wanted to draw the character because of the taste for oriental art, samurai era, fights with katana swords, this kind of thing!
